S.W.M.S.R.A. To Hold Season End Banquet Battle Creek - Southwest Michigan Slot Racers Association will hold their season end banquet on Saturday, May 20, 2000. This years winners in the six (6) classes are:

Hobby Pros Summer Schedule Beginning Tuesday, May 16, 2000,
Hobby Pros will be running a 12 week Outlaw Sprint Car Modified trophy series. This series will be run on our sixteen foot, six lane Max Trax Oval. Entry fees for this class
will be $3.00 per race. $2.00 of each entry fee will be paid back, in Hobby Pro Bucks, to be split between the top four (4) finishers in the main. $1.00 of each entry fee will go
towards the trophies. Practice will begin at 5:00 p.m. each Tuesday night. Tech inspection will begin at 6:30 p.m. and heat races will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Thursday night racing will consist of
Box Stock, Superstock, and Modifieds. Entry fees for these classes will be $2.00 per race and there will be a 100% pay back to be split between the top four (4) finishers in the main. Practice will

1st Annual Midwest H.O. Scale Slot Car Oval Championships Results North Adams, Michigan - Thunderbolt Racing
presented the 1st Annual Midwest H.O. Scale Slot Car Oval Championships on Saturday, May 6, 2000. The event was hosted by
Fast Track Hobbys at 109 West Main Street, North Adams, Michigan, and held on their sixteen foot four lane Max Trax Oval. Races consisted of three classes which were: Nascar
H.O.P.R.A. Box Stock, Indy/Champ Car H.O.P.R.A. Superstock, and Wing Sprint Car H.O.P.R.A. Modified. Trophies were awarded to first place in each class. The winners were:
Box Stock: Jody Babcock
Superstock: Charlie Cochran
Modified: Rick Sloan
"Best Appearing Race Car" plaques were awarded in each class and were won by:

Superstock: Jody Babcock
Modified: Ken Hunter
Numerous race prizes were donated by Fast Track Hobbys. There were also some race prizes donated by
Thunderbolt Racing and Hobby Pros.
U.F.H.O.R.A. 2000 Nats to be
held in Anderson, Indiana
Anderson, Indiana - This year the United Federation of H.O. Racers Association will hold their National Championships on June 7 through
June 11, 2000, at the Millcreek Civic Center in Chesterfield, Indiana just outside of Anderson, Indiana.
This years Nationals are being brought to you by Wizzard High Performance
and the Host Club of IHOCC (Indiana HO Challenge Cup).
There will be support races held on Thursday and Friday nights.
Hobby Pros will have a booth set
up at the event and will be sponsoring one of the support races.

H.O.P.R.A. 2000
Nats to be held in Chicago, Illinois 
Chicago, Illinois - This year the H.O. Professional Racing Association will hold their National Championships on June 29 through July 2, 2000, at the
Best Western Midway Hotel in Elk Grove Village, Illinios.
The 2000 H.O.P.R.A. Nats are being hosted by Illinois H.O.P.R.A., Rick DeRosa, Director. For more

Beginning May 15, 2000, Hobby Pros will have new store hours for the summer. These new hours will be in effect until September 1, 2000. Our new hours will be:
Monday Closed
Tuesday 5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Wednesday 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday 5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Friday 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Sunday Closed
Further, please note that we will be attending both the U.F.H.O.R.A. and H.O.P.R.A. National events. Therefore the shop will be closed on the following dates:
